BLUE GLASSES

Merion is located on the 2nd stop of the train that goes through the MAIN LINE, the western suburbs of Philadelphia.  These orange doors belong to a restaurant in Ardmore, the 5th stop of this train (the R5).  This scene caught my eye on my way to the art supply store to buy more canvases for this project.  I love the tables all set and ready to go for a festive evening in the middle of the afternoon.

This is one of my favorite windows.

ATTIC BATHROOM

This painting is 6" x 8", oil, on stretched canvas. $100.00.   My studio is on the third floor of my house and this is the bathroom on that floor.  The house is at least 150 years old and the walls are quite thick.  The combination of the slanting roof in the attic and the thick walls create some wonderful shadows.
