I am several minutes, hours, days, years?... late for class. I can't find the door, stairs, elevator or building. I am searching frantically for the right place, but haven't gotten there yet.

This is pretty great, the rushing and lighting ( those halls of yours!)
I had those drams all my life. Then 5 years ago while dreaming one , I said" oh f it. If I'm late, I'm late "
In the dream I decided to adopt the lackadaisical approach others in the dream had. They seemed to be having more success navigating the space . I haven't had one since oddly.
If a fear can't get you going, you aren't fun anymore lol
I love this. I will try it next time, if I have the ability.
The length of the dream is key. It was pretty long , so alot of pointless running and there fore I had time during the dream to say "hey wait a minute.....".
Everyone else in the dream seemed fine and doing fine with not showing up, not being where they said they would be, not having what they were suppose to bring etc. It didn't impact things enough to animate them. Why were they free and not me?
