DRIVING IN THE FOG

DRIVING IN THE FOG
Nancy Herman
8" x 6"
oil on canvas

An ordinary drive takes on an air of mystery in the fog.  Not being able to see everything seems to infuse what can be seen with a certain romantic intensity.

Nancy...I don't comment often enough, but your paintings are always a delight to view, every one. I like the way you 'see" :)

Great rendering of a scene we all notice when we drive, and you've captured it well!

You've captured the cold atmosphere in an elegant way here, Nancy.

I came over to comment on your latest Elba painting (which is great! That tile roof is phenomenal) but it doesn't seem to be up here yet, so I'll go ahead with this one: That is beautiful. I'm engulfed in atmosphere. Also great!

Dear A. Decker,
Thank you for noticing the tile roof which will be up today on this site. It was indeed a challenge. To paint every tile or not that was the question.
