VERY STILL LIFE

The past few days the wind has been blowing non stop. It has made me very tense and jumpy.  Painting this very ordered piece was quite soothing.

Beautiful expectancy ..it's still... but it has the essence of "life", of something which might happen at any moment.

Thank you both. I got a beautiful email from a friend about this entry. She said, "I love the wild wind and its freight train noises- all wild drama- a shot of adrenalin to my little soul.
Strangely this little still painting disturbs me!!!!!!! Something scary lurking here. I think it is the utter stillness that you have so perfectly captured- death in the guise of a stark vessel. Fascinating! One woman's poison is another woman's balm."
The woman can really write!
