PINES LADEN WITH SNOW

The pines had a hard time with all this snow and many lost limbs.  This one held out in spite of the burden.

    I am awestruck by this dramatic and powerful composition that so perfectly captures the forces of nature. It so reminds me of Chinese landscape paintings, the world painted in a perfect shorthand.
